1.Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Wavy ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2.Eligibility
To use Wavy, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
- Not be prohibited from using the App under applicable law.
- Not have been previously banned or removed from the platform.
3.Account Registration
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You may not create more than one account or transfer your account to another person.
4.User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation.
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or abuse any other user.
- Post content that is obscene, hateful, discriminatory, violent, or promotes illegal activity.
- Send spam, solicit money, or promote commercial activities without authorization.
- Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to interact with the App.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems.
- Collect or harvest other users' personal information.
- Upload viruses, malware, or any harmful code.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
5.Content
You retain ownership of content you post (photos, text, messages).
- By posting content, you grant Wavy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the service.
- You represent that you have the right to post all content you share and that it does not violate any third party's rights.
Content Moderation
- We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines without prior notice.
- We are not obligated to monitor all content but may do so at our discretion.
6.Matching and Interactions
Wavy facilitates introductions between users. We do not guarantee any particular outcome from matches or interactions.
- We are not responsible for the behavior, actions, or conduct of any user, whether online or offline.
- You interact with other users at your own risk. Exercise caution and good judgment in all interactions, especially when meeting in person.
7.Subscriptions and Payments
Wavy may offer free and premium subscription tiers.
- Subscription fees, billing cycles, and features are described within the App.
- Payments are processed through third-party payment providers (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store). You agree to their respective terms.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are subject to the policies of the applicable app store or payment provider.
8.Paid Events and Tickets
Some events and spots on Wavy ("Paid Events") require the purchase of a ticket to join. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the following:
Purchases
- Ticket prices are displayed in the App in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Payments for tickets are processed by our third-party payment processor, Razorpay. Your payment is subject to Razorpay's terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your card, UPI, or banking credentials.
- Your ticket is confirmed only after we receive confirmation of successful payment. If a payment attempt fails or is abandoned, no ticket is issued and any temporary hold on your seat is released.
- If an amount is debited from your account but your ticket is not confirmed (for example, the event filled up while your payment was processing), the amount is automatically refunded to your original payment method.
- Each ticket admits one person, is linked to your Wavy account, and cannot be transferred, resold, or exchanged.
- Paid Events may have limited capacity. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cancellations and Refunds
- If a Paid Event is cancelled by its host or by Wavy, all ticket holders receive an automatic full refund to their original payment method. Refunds are initiated immediately and typically reflect within 5 to 7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- If a Paid Event takes place as scheduled, tickets are non-refundable. This includes situations where you choose not to attend, leave the event, arrive late, or are removed for violating these Terms.
- We reserve the right to cancel any Paid Event, revoke tickets obtained in violation of these Terms, or refuse entry, with refunds issued where required by this policy or applicable law.

Events Generally
- Paid Events are in-person gatherings. Section 6 (Matching and Interactions) applies: you attend at your own risk and should exercise good judgment.
- Wavy acts as the organizer or ticketing platform for Paid Events and is not responsible for the acts or omissions of attendees.
9.Intellectual Property
Wavy and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Wavy and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content without our written permission.
10.Termination
- You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.
- We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise inappropriate.
- Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
11.Disclaimers
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- We do not conduct criminal background checks on users.
- We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy of information provided by other users.
12.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wavy and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to:
- Personal injury or emotional distress resulting from interactions with other users.
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the App.
13.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wavy, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
14.Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation.
- If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, rather than in court.
- You agree to waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
15.Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Wavy operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
16.Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
17.Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
